- Obey posted speed limit signs
- Reduce speed on hills and around turns
- Watch out for cyclists and pedestrians on the roadways

Remember that you are responsible for your own safety and security!
Trails
Stay on marked trails. Trails that are not marked are not maintained and natural hazards may be present increasing the risk of serious injury.
In case of an emergency
Call 911. If you are in a remote area be prepared for the possibility that you may have to wait for help to arrive.
Cell phone coverage
Coverage is not available everywhere in the park. Pay phones are located at the visitor information centre.
Be prepared
Dress for the weather and be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions. Check weather forecasts before venturing out.

Assume all surface water is unfit to drink unless first boiled for 10 minutes or adequately filtered.
