MacLaren Pond Medicine Trail
Fundy National Park
The MacLaren Pond Medicine Trail also known as M’pisun Awti’j is a great place to learn about the Mi'gmaq traditional knowledge of medicinal plants like jewelweed and wood sorrel, which can be found along the trail. The trail includes many accessible trail best practices such as rest areas, width adjustments, a hard-packed trail surface, and a boardwalk with two lookouts overlooking the peaceful pond below.
