La Sociéte Saint-Pierre

Parks Canada is partnering with La Société Saint-Pierre to promote Acadian culture and develop new culturally focused visitor opportunities in Cheticamp and throughout Cape Breton Island.




Cape Breton University

Cape Breton University

Cape Breton Highlands National Park is working with Cape Breton University to expand learning and research opportunities in resource conservation, cultural resources and tourism, working collaboratively on projects related to cultural and environmental protection and sustainable management of lands and waters through research and monitoring initiatives. Cape Breton Highlands National Park creates a vast natural and cultural resource for education, monitoring, research and active management purposes for students and faculty by integrating into the academic programming and research.




Chéticamp River Salmon Association

Chéticamp River Salmon Association

Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the Chéticamp River Salmon Association are collaborating to restore the main channel of the lower Chéticamp River to a more natural width and meander. The Chéticamp River has one of only two healthy spring salmon runs in Nova Scotia.




Les Amis du Plein Air

Les Amis du Plein Air

Les Amis du Plein Air is the not-for-profit cooperating association for Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The group operates the Les Amis du Plein Air Nature Bookstore in the Chéticamp visitor centre at Cape Breton Highlands National Park, and organizes several guided hikes in the park throughout the year. Their goals are to promote outdoor recreational and educational experiences and to be involved in the development and promotion of the park's recreational activities. They are an independent association governed by an elected board of directors from local communities.




Highlands Links Golf Club Society

Highlands Links Golf Club

Highlands Links Golf Club Society is a not-for-profit organization and is recognized by the local community and golfing clients as the sole Home Club of Highlands Links, which is located within Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The Club provides the needed volunteer base to host tournaments. Over the years the Club has also contributed financially to capital projects on the Highlands Links.




J.A. Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport

J.A. Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport

Cape Breton Highlands National Park has collaborated with the JA Douglas McCurdy Airport Authority to promote the park and Highlands Links at the airport in Sydney, Nova Scotia.




Live Life in Tents

Live Life in Tents

Live Life in Tents is an adventure tourism company in Margaree NS that provides turn-key adventure experiences. They offer camping gear rentals, glamping, camping and river tubing excursions on the Margaree River. Parks Canada works with Live Life in Tents to promote and encourage outdoor activities at Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
