Where to picnic?
Enjoy a picnic under a canopy of trees! There are several picnic areas located in the park and all have washrooms, shelters, picnic tables, grills and vehicle access. Most are a short walk from the beach.

Note that beach access and bike trail access are located on the west side of the road at Northwest Beach
Northwest beach
Pavilion is first come first served unless reserved. Access to barbecue, kitchenette and fire-pit available for reserved guests only. Guarantee your picnic by reserving in advance.

Note that during the winter months, washroom access is limited to Blue Heron, White Pine, Visitor Centre and the Tip. Parking at other picnic areas may be closed due to snowfall.
Rental picnic areas
Point Pelee has two picnic facilities, White Pine and Northwest Beach, that are available to rent for such events as family reunions or birthday parties. If not rented, sites are available on a first come first served basis.
Rules and regulations
The feeding of any animals, such as deer, raccoons, birds and fish, is strictly prohibited. Avoid the danger of being bitten and acquiring diseases, and minimize your impact on the park's ecological health.
Bringing firewood into the park or collecting firewood from the beach or forest is also prohibited. Use charcoal in the barbeque pits.
