The recreation centre offers many services in Petit-Gaspé: heated pool, outdoor children’s playground, tennis court, convenience store and free Wi-Fi.

Parking for persons with disabilities.
A paved pathway provides access to the building from the parking for disabled persons. It is 118 metres long with a grade between 3 and 5%, except the first 8 metres which has a grade of 10%.
The pool has a ramp to get into the water.
The entire building and terrace are wheelchair accessible.
An interior ramp provides access to the locker room. It has an 8% grade, over a length of 8 metres.
An outdoor heated pool and a wading pool for cooling off are a joy for many families on vacation. They are supervised by lifeguards. The pool has a ramp to get into the water.
From the outdoor terrace, a wooden ramp leads to a stone dust pathway that runs near the play modules. The impact-absorbing surface of the playground is cedar chips.
Hyman and Sons General Store
Accessibility
This historic general store is full of treasures! It occupies the first floor of the authentic residence built by William Hyman in 1864. A 2.5" door threshold must be crossed.
Come in and discover, in this warm atmosphere of yesteryear, the typical operations of the “company stores” operated by the major fish merchants and their vast inventory: canned products, patent medicines, china dinner services, farming equipment, fishing tackle, clothing, etc. A screening room adjoining the store presents the short film “Time and tide remembered”, you must go up a step to access it.
Upstairs, the exhibit, Living with the Seasons, explores the way Forillon families secured their livelihood, in harmony with nature and the seasons. You must climb the stairs to access it. Illustrated booklets can be consulted on the first floor for those who cannot climb the stairs.

Guide interpreters are on hand to offer assistance if needed. The main event takes place on the first floor.
oTENTik

Halfway between the tent and the rustic cabin, the oTENTik tent welcomes you in the comfort of nature. It’s the perfect opportunity for families or friends to enjoy a hassle-free camping experience.
In loop F of Petit-Gaspé campground, the F2 site is adapted for people with reduced mobility. It is located 100 metres from the parking for handicapped persons.
The different trails of loop F of the Petit-Gaspé campground are made of stone dust or crushed stone.
The oTENTik F2 at Petit-Gaspé campground has an access ramp for people with reduced mobility.
The interior configuration of the oTENTik F2 at Petit-Gaspé campground facilitates the transfer of a person in a wheelchair to the bed by offering an open space, parallel to it.

Petit-Gaspé Campground
The loop roads are paved and the access paths to the service buildings are stone dust or crushed stone. Water outlets are located along the loops.
Adapted picnic tables are available at sites 7 and 9 in Loop A, which consist of a hard trail, surfaced in crushed stone. The distance between these two sites and the service building is approximately 50 metres. The path to get there is a slight 6% slope.
- Loop A consists of lightly wooded campsites with water and electricity.
- Loop C consists of unserviced wooded campsites.
- Loop D consists of unserviced wooded campsites.
These three camping loops have a modern service building with adapted washroom and shower, as well as an accessible indoor space.
- Loop E consists of wooded campsites with electricity.
This loop has a service building—less modern than the ones on other loops—with an adapted shower and washroom.

Petit-Gaspé campground - The service buildings in loops A, C and D offer an indoor space with adapted tables, a fireplace, indoor and outdoor sinks, as well as a shower and washroom accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
loop A: A 4% grade provides access to the service building on a stone dust trail. Parking is available on the paved road 29 metres from the building.
loop C: A 4% grade provides access to the service building on a stone dust trail. Parking is available on the paved road 26 metres from the building.
loop D: A 5% grade provides access to the service building on a stone dust trail. Parking is available on the paved road 54 metres from the building.
Loop E: Parking is available near the service building, which has a wheelchair-accessible shower. Although this one is less modern than those of the other loops, it still meets the accessibility standards.
Loop E: Parking is available near the service building, which has an accessible washroom. Although this one is less modern than those of the other loops, it still meets the accessibility standards.
