Winter hiking
La Mauricie National Park
Winter provides a very special scenery: bright light, clear view, the crunch of footsteps on the snow...
With its 8 marked trails stretching over 54 km, La Mauricie National Park is a destination of choice for snowshoeing and winter hiking.
On snowshoes, with crampons or simply wearing the right boots if the conditions allow it, winter hiking is easy; you just have to put one foot in front of the other!
Daily entrance fees are payable at all times for access to La Mauricie National Park. They are sold at the perception kiosk in Saint-Jean-des-Piles and at the automated payment terminal in Saint-Gérard. The Parks Canada Discovery pass is valid year-round.
