CLOSING – SHOULDER SEASON

The park is closed and the section of Parkway from the Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc entrance to the Rivière à la Pêche Service Centre is closed to motorized vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. Emergency services may be unavailable or significantly delayed during this period. Cellular phone services do not cover all of La Mauricie National Park.

Hike, camp, canoe, cycle, ski or drive through the park to discover this protected territory, where Indigenous knowledge, vacationing and logging have all left their mark. You'll feel welcome and safe, in the heart of an inviting source of wilderness and Mauricie culture. 

No-drone sign Using recreational drones in La Mauricie National Park is prohibited. Anyone caught operating a drone within park boundaries may result in law enforcement action and a fine of up to $25,000.

Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site
