Cross-country ski initiation day

Several youngsters accompanied by supervisors go cross-country skiing at the start of trail #6 in La Mauricie National Park. The mascot Parka accompanies the group for the day. The trail can be seen getting lost in the forest in the background.

Cost: To take part in the cross-country ski initiation activity, interested parties can register on site on the day. The activity costs $10 per participant, including cross-country ski equipment, animation and access to the trails for the duration of the activity. Visitors must pay the applicable entrance fee to enter the site.

Note: The Cross-country ski initiation activity is open to young people and adults.

The Skimau ski club and La Mauricie National Park invite young people and adults to enjoy cross-country ski initiation day to learn the basics of this magnificent sport in the park's panoramic setting.

The instructors offer five one-hour sessions. Sessions start at approximately 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm We recommend arriving 45 minutes early to choose your equipment.
