Club Skimau Shawinigan
The Club Skimau Shawinigan organizes two cross-country skiing competitions annually in La Mauricie National Park. New in 2024, it also offers a cross-country skiing initiation day open to all in collaboration with the national park.
Cyclo-Mauricie
Cyclo-Mauricie, in association with La Mauricie National Park, organizes each year, two large-scale activities in the National Park. During Les Défis du Parc, which is Canada’s largest sport cycling gathering, participants at all levels can take on a variety of challenges in several events on bike and on foot.
Do-Sport
Do Sport is a company in the Mauricie region specializing in paddle board, foil board, surf and wakesurf. In partnership with La Mauricie National Park, it offers an introductory stay at the SUP Camping which allows you to discover the sporting but also relaxing virtues of this new sport practiced in calm waters.
Escapade Mauricie
Escapade Mauricie (in French only) is an agency specializing in local experiences that promote travel by public transportation. This partnership helps improve access to the national park and regional mobility by increasing transportation to the park and opportunities for exploring it without a personal vehicle.Navette Nature
Navette nature is a public transportation that connects users with nature in addition to reducing their ecological footprint. This partnership facilitates accessibility and discovery of La Mauricie National Park without a personal vehicle.
Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP)
The Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP) is a charitable organization which promotes safety and injury prevention, mostly in ski areas. At La Mauricie National Park, in summer and winter alike, volunteers certified by CSP patrol in paths and on lakes and are present during special events to ensure visitors’ safety and to provide first aid and first care.

Société de protection des forêts contre le feu (SOPFEU)
The Société de protection des forêts contre le feu (SOPFEU) (French only) is an organization which helps prevent forest fires and insures security for the hundreds of forest fires that affect Quebec annually. This Society cooperates with La Mauricie National Park by helping to determine the fire weather index. It also offers courses and supports our employees during the prescribed fires that favour the natural renewal of forests.
