Red chairs
Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve
We saved you a spot!
Where was the idea of the red chairs born?
In 2011, our friends in Gros Morne National Park installed 18 sets of Adirondack-style chairs throughout their protected area. Since then, visitors have been looking for them and posting photos on the Web! The program has expanded to include several protected areas.
In the Mingan Archipelago we have placed, just for you, Adirondack-style red chairs at three special locations on the islands and at three others on the coast. The goal is to allow you to take the time to get closer to nature. When sitting in front of these panoramic locations, take a moment to breathe in the salty air or simply to contemplate the landscapes.
