From islands to the sea
This exhibition offers a virtual and a sensory tour of the islands at the western end of the Mingan Archipelago. Discover their beautiful charms, the people who shaped their stories, the indigenous and Basque artifacts, and the interactive games about flora, seabirds and animals of the sea.

The Mingan Island Cetacean Study (MICS) presents:
Marine mammals of the Gulf of St. Lawrence
Visit the Research and Interpretation Center of the Mingan Island Cetacean Study. Guided tours with experienced biologists are offered. Discover the world of the various marine mammals of the St. Lawrence through wall paintings, photographs and life-size representations. The end of each performance is punctuated by a movie that shows the work done on the water and gives an overview to the visitors.
On Île aux Perroquets
Exhibition Living at Île aux Perroquets
Visit the foghorn shed on Île aux Perroquets to see the exhibit about this island. Learn about the evolution and modernization of the lighthouse station and the methods of communication used here since 1888. Find out about the way of life of the families and writers who have lived on this island. Admire period household and religious objects as well as photos and personal diaries.

This exhibition gives you a taste of the natural and cultural treasures of the islands. Soak up the history of Roland Jomphe and his poems, which have earned him awards and honors. Discover fossilized marine organisms, now extinct, dating back to 465 million years ago. Use the magnifying glass to take a closer look at the fossils at the manipulation table.
