La Mauricie National Park
Stay in comfort in one of our two cabins (accessible for people with reduced mobility) located just a stone's throw from the entrance to Saint-Jean-des-Piles. You will be delighted by both the convenience of the facilities and the proximity to adventure. A simple, friendly way to experience the great outdoors combined with the cozy pleasures of cottage life!
Mandatory reservation
Cabins are available through the national reservation system. There, you will find all the information you need on the booking procedures and the details of our refund policy.
The two cabins are located within the geographical territory of La Mauricie National Park. Daily admission fees will be collected when visitors arrive on site.
Reservations begin: Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 8:00 am

Extended stay: Reservation available from Friday to Sunday, with a minimum of two nights. For a longer stay, book the first two nights now and contact us to extend your stay, subject to availability at lamauricie@pc.gc.ca.
Equipment and facilities
Both cabins feature the same facilities and equipment. They can accommodate a maximum of 10 adults. WiFi and air conditioning are available on site.
First floor:
- A bedroom with queen-size bed
- A bathroom with an accessible shower
- A break room with electric fireplace
- A dining room for 10 guests
- A fully-equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and basic utensils) with clearance for easy access
Basement:
- Two bedrooms with queen-size bed
- A bedroom with two single bunk beds
- A living room
- A bathroom with an shower
The following equipment is also included:
- A washer and dryer
- Two electric fondue sets
- A toaster
- A propane barbecue
- Cheese grater
- Vegetable peeler
- A filter coffee machine (filter and coffee not included)
- A high chair
- A broom and dustpan
- A snow shovel
What to bring
For your indoor comfort, we suggest you bring:
- Bedding (sleeping bag, blankets, pillows)
- Dishcloths
- Bath towels
- Food and beverages
To enjoy the outdoors, we suggest you bring:
- A flashlight
- Mosquito repellent
- A lighter or matches
*Firewood is available for purchase at the Rivière-à-la-Pêche campground
Rules
In addition to the national park's camping regulations, cabin users must follow a few additional rules:
Cabin schedule and occupancy
Arrival time: 3:00 pm
Departure time: 11:00 am
Guest departure time: 10:00 pm
Quiet hours: 11:00 pm
Out of respect for the environment that we are protecting
Pets are not allowed both inside and outside cabins.
Bringing firewood into national parks from outside is prohibited. It is important to purchase wood from the park and burn it on site.
