20. Park Enlargement
20.1
Subject to acceptable terms being negotiated between Canada, the GNWT , and the appropriate Aboriginal authorities, the Parties recognize the desirability of:
- enlarging the Park to include those adjacent lands that have been withdrawn for national park purposes by Order in Council P.C. 1995 - 589 in the Nunavut and Sahtu claim areas; and
- enlarging the Board to include representatives of the Inuit of Nunavut and the Dene and Metis of the Sahtu.
