Public Notice: Restricted Area
Skyline Headland
Cape Breton Highlands National Park
Effective Dates: April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025
Pursuant to section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the Superintendent designates the following Restricted Area within Cape Breton Highlands National Park. This area is known locally as the Skyline headland. It is located approximately 19 km north of the community of Chéticamp, Nova Scotia, and encompasses some 0.6 km2.
Except where explicitly authorized by the Superintendent, entry or travel off the boardwalk is prohibited at all times.

Violation of this prohibition is an offence under the Canada National Parks Act and may result in prosecution.
