Healthy Workplace Month

Dear colleagues,

It is with great enthusiasm that I invite you to participate in the activities surrounding Healthy Workplace Month taking place throughout the month of October! This year, our theme is "Celebrate your workplace culture". It's a perfect opportunity to prioritize our well-being and to create a healthier and safer work environment.

As we wrap up an intense and demanding operational season, it is increasingly important to pay attention to our physical and mental well-being. By focusing on wellness in the workplace, we can foster a positive atmosphere, enhance our health and safety, and ultimately build resilient teams.

During Healthy Workplace Month, a wide range of activities and resources are offered to promote our personal and professional growth:

  • Learning opportunities and Resource showcase:
    • Various training sessions and workshops will be offered to present available resources and tools for yourself, colleagues, and family. These sessions will make you better equipped to face daily challenges and will enhance your overall knowledge of mental health.
    • Discover the wealth of resources and programs available at Parks Canada to support your well-being journey.
  • Wellness challenges: Engage in friendly competitions designed to promote physical activity, healthy habits, and team bonding. These weekly challenges will provide an opportunity to have fun, motivate each other, and embrace a well-rounded lifestyle.

I encourage everyone to take some time this month to invest in your well-being. Together, let's continue to create a culture that values and supports the holistic health of our team members.

Visit the Healthy Workplace Month intranet page for all the details and to see the complete schedule of events. If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to the Workplace Wellness Team at mieuxetre-wellness@pc.gc.ca.
