Cycling is a great way to see the park and get some exercise at the same time. Cyclists are encouraged to park at the administration building just inside the west entrance, off township road 544, before setting off for a road ride. This parking area positions cyclists with a more scenic ride along the southern shores of Astotin Lake, where the road shoulder is wider and the road is winding and less busy. The vehicle speed limit on this road is 40 km an hour, so it’s a safer choice especially for novice bikers and connects cyclists to the Astotin Lake Recreation Area via Shoreline Trail.
