Announcement - Appointment of Jonah Mitchell - Executive Director, Prairies and Northwest Territories

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to announce the recent appointment of Jonah Mitchell in the role of Executive Director, Prairies and Northwest Territories.

Jonah began his career with Parks Canada in 1994 as a Seasonal Park Warden at Riding Mountain National Park. Before becoming an executive in 2011, Jonah held various positions within the organization, both at National Office and in Regional Operations. In 2015, he became the Field Unit Superintendent, Southwest Northwest Territories.

Jonah holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria, British Columbia.
