Narrows
Rideau Canal National Historic Site
The Narrows Lock is the busiest lockstation on the Rideau, connecting the Big Rideau and Upper Rideau Lakes. Although there are no local services in the immediate vicinity, both Portland and Westport offer restaurants and shopping for groceries and gifts. Visitors should exercise caution on windy days, which can prove challenging in this location.
